  • Harmonised standard references (EN XXXX:YYYY format)
  • Multi-directive flags — LVD, RED, ATEX, EMC

Expert audit of your Declaration of Conformity

The automated triage flags the most common structural issues. But full regulatory compliance under Machinery Regulation 2023/1230 requires a human expert who can read between the lines.

Our audit covers every mandatory dimension — from risk assessment adequacy to instructions for use, notified body certificate scope, and cross-document consistency. You receive a written report with specific action items.

Delivered by a regulatory compliance specialist with EU machinery law expertise.

Frequently asked questions

What file formats are accepted?
PDF and DOCX (Word). PDFs must be text-based — scanned image PDFs cannot be processed because no text can be extracted from them. Maximum file size is 20 MB.
Do you store my documents?
No. We do not store your documents. For the free triage, the file is processed in memory and deleted immediately after the report is emailed. For the full audit, the file is attached to an email sent to our reviewer and then deleted from our server. No document content is retained on our systems.
What does the free triage check?
Five automated checks: (1) whether the document references the current Machinery Regulation 2023/1230 or the old 2006/42/EC; (2) harmonised standard references (EN XXXX:YYYY format) and whether they appear in the Official Journal list; (3) keywords suggesting additional directives may apply (LVD, RED, ATEX, EMC); (4) whether a non-EU manufacturer has declared an authorised representative; (5) cybersecurity references. These are pattern-matching checks — not a legal opinion.
What does the full audit cover?
Everything in the free triage plus: technical file completeness, user manual consistency, risk assessment adequacy, cybersecurity documentation depth, IEC/IEEE 82079-1:2019 compliance, notified body certificate scope, and cross-document consistency. You receive a written report with specific action items, not just a checklist.
How long does the full audit take?
3 working days from the time we receive your document. In practice, most audits are returned sooner. If you have an urgent deadline, contact us at .
Is this a legal opinion or a compliance certificate?
No. Neither the triage report nor the full audit is a legal opinion, a notified body assessment, or a guarantee of regulatory compliance. It is a professional review to help you identify gaps before market surveillance or a conformity assessment. Always consult a qualified legal or regulatory professional for formal compliance decisions.
Which regulation does the audit cover?
Primarily EU Machinery Regulation 2023/1230, which replaces Directive 2006/42/EC from 20 January 2027. The audit also flags potential applicability of other directives (LVD, RED, ATEX, EMC) where relevant keywords appear.
Can I get a refund?
If you have paid but have not yet submitted your document, contact and we will arrange a refund. Once a document has been reviewed and the report sent, we are unable to issue refunds.
